CEO/Co-founder
I co-founded Santa Cruz Local in 2019 because I believed the Santa Cruz community needed a reliable news outlet that delivered deep, high-quality journalism on residents’ most pressing concerns and questions.
As Santa Cruz Local’s CEO, I’m building an ethical and sustainable independent news organization with a deep connection to Santa Cruz County residents.
I’m a founding board member of the Tiny News Collective, a nonprofit organization that helps communities build newsrooms. I live in Santa Cruz with my husband and dog. I’m a proud Stanford alum. Read my ethics statement.
