Several homes are planned on the former site of the Circle Church and Garfield Park Christian Church. The 1.67-acre lot has been subdivided.

Status

  • Demolition started in April 2024. 
  • The Santa Cruz City Council approved a demolition permit and two versions of the housing project in 2020.

Project description

The Santa Cruz Council in 2020 approved two versions of the project:

  • 12 houses with 12 in-law units and a common building at the center. 
  • 10 houses, four in-law units, six detached condominiums and a common building.
