I joined Santa Cruz Local because I believe equal access to high quality reporting makes our community stronger. I believe in our focus on journalism that holds power to account. I don’t want a local government that operates in the dark.
My goal is to make sure our reporting is useful to you in your everyday life. I do this by listening to your questions, concerns and stories. I work with our reporters and editors to ensure our journalism responds to your needs. I also help our readers and listeners become Santa Cruz Local members and answer their membership questions.
I’ve previously worked as a community organizer. I’m originally from the East Coast and live in Santa Cruz. I love this community and am honored to serve it.
