Location: 150 Felker St. in Santa Cruz, near the San Lorenzo River and Highway 1.
Status
- The project needs a building permit as of Sept. 6, 2023. The Santa Cruz Zoning Administrator on Sept. 6 approved a “major modification” to build 35 housing units in a five-story project. An initial proposal was 32 units and four stories. At the Sept. 6 meeting, a representative of the developer said the building plans would include sound buffers because of highway noise.
- The project initially was approved on August 17, 2022. City leaders received the project’s application in December 2021.
