Status

  • A community meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 on Zoom, or by calling 669-444-9171 meeting ID 810 9843 4200.
  • The developer Workbench submitted a pre-application to the City of Santa Cruz at the end of May. 
  • A previous planning application from 2015 on the same lot called for a three-story building with 12 apartments and ground floor shops.

Project description

  • Total units: 76 (plus a future conversion of “non-habitable space” into four one-bedroom units).
  • Affordable units: 12.
  • Height: Six stories.
  • Details: The project calls for 33 studios, 33 one-bedroom apartments, 10 two-bedroom apartments and a future conversion of some areas into four additional one-bedroom apartments. Ground-floor shops and sixty-one parking spaces are planned.
