SANTA CRUZ COUNTY>>  One of the most common questions Santa Cruz Local gets asked is: where can I find affordable housing? We’re compiling an updated resource guide on how to find below-market-rate homes for rent in Santa Cruz County. First, we want to ask those of you who already secured housing — how did you find your spot? 

Tell us how you found your apartment, ADU, RV parking spot, yurt, etc. (whether you consider it affordable or not). Where did you go to look? How long did it take, and what challenges did you face? What tips do you have for other people on the hunt? 

If you’re a landlord or property manager, let us know what tips you have for potential tenants.
