Status

In May 2023 Kaiser Permanente leaders announced that they would not purchase 5940 Soquel Ave. “We have re-evaluated the proposed project at 5940 Soquel Avenue and determined that we no longer intend to occupy this property,” Kaiser Permanente representative Karl Sonkin wrote in a statement.

San Diego-based developer Pacific Medical Buildings LLC.

Project description

A 160,000-square-foot medical complex was planned at the site. Kaiser representatives said the facility would have included 24-hour urgent care, physical therapy, chemotherapy, optometry and a pharmacy.
